Cordless Waterpik Water Flosser

If you are looking for a cordless Waterpik water flosser, then we have just the ticket. Let us introduce you to the Waterpik WP-560, often regarded as the best cordless water flosser in the world. On this page, we are going to talk about the features that you will be able to enjoy if you pick up this awesome bit of kit.

Cordless Waterpik Water Flosser Portability

In our opinion, if you make a cordless water flosser, then it needs to be portable. You can’t get much more portable than when you buy a Waterpik water flosser cordless.

For starters; the Waterpik WP-560 has been built for travel use. Sure. There is nothing stopping you from using it in the comfort of your own home, but this is a travel water flosser through and through. You can tell that from what you have included in the box. This includes a travel case, as well as an extra accessory which will help to protect the Waterpik WP-560 during use.

In addition to this, you may notice that the unit is probably the only cordless water flosser on the market that you can feasibly use overseas without any issues. The charger can work on any voltage or electrical system. You just need to ensure that you buy a converter plug. Any standard travel adapter will do.

Oh, and to really demonstrate the portability; this is the only quality cordless water flosser on the market that is 100% waterproof. If you want to floss your teeth while in the shower (to save a little bit of time in the morning), then feel free to use the the WP-560. It won’t judge you.

Cordless Waterpik Water Flosser Battery Life

Most cordless water flossers on the market take an age to charge. One of the first ones we ever owned (a really cheap one) would often take upwards of 18-hours. Not the greatest experience in the world. With the WP-560, Waterpik water flosser cordless technology has been taken to the next level. You will notice that there is a charge indicator on the water flosser and how slowly the battery drains. Typically, you can see a few days use out of the Waterpik WP-560 before you even need to think about charging it.

Once you do need to charge, it is only going to take 4-hours. This means that you can stick it on charge after your water flossing session, and the next time you want to give your teeth a good clean, your WP-560 will be ready and raring to go.

And to cap it all off; this battery utilizes NiMH technology. This means that it is going to be able to cope with a substantial number of charges. It also doesn’t deal with the dreaded ‘memory effect’. Yes. It would have been great if Waterpik could have somehow fit a Lithium Ion battery in here instead, it would have made it lighter. However, NiMH is good enough for what we want the WP-560 to do.

Cordless Waterpik Water Flosser Features

When you purchase a Waterpik water flosser cordless, you can’t expect it to have the same number of features that a countertop Waterpik would have. There just isn’t the power there. However, honestly, Waterpik have given a fair shot at trying to include as many of the normal Waterpik features into this device.

For starters; unlike most other cordless water flossers, you have several different pressure settings. Three of them. This means that you will be able to choose the right level of pressure for you. However, sadly, Waterpik have had to forgo the massage feature here.

You also have your 360-degree rotating head. This ensures that you are easily able to tackle every area of your mouth. No need to move your hands around in all sorts of awkward positions like you would need to with other cordless water flossers.

The design is pretty close to the standard Waterpik too. Yes. There is a bit of bulk added. It does have a water reservoir and a battery in place after all, but for adult hands, the WP-560 never really feels like it is cumbersome to move about. We would go as far to say that it is comfortable to hold for most people. You can’t say that about the majority of other cordless products out there.

Water Reservoir Size

The problem with purchasing a Waterpik water flosser cordless is the fact that it needs to be held easily. It can’t be too heavy. It can’t be too bulky. This means that often sacrifices need to be made. For example; your typical Waterpik water flosser will be able to hold around 90-seconds of water. As articulated in the Waterpik WP560 review, this model is able to hold just 45-seconds worth.

Now, before you run away, we do want to point out that 45-seconds is actually a pretty substantial amount for a cordless water flosser. Many of the cheaper ones on the market are able to hold 15-seconds to about 30-seconds at the most. Yes. You will need to refill your WP-560 if you want to get that full 1-minute clean with it, but you only need to do it once. Purchase another cordless product? Well, you are going to be constantly refilling. It is really irritating.

Ultra Quiet & Vibration Free

We don’t know how many cordless water flossers you have tried, but a lot of them are awful to hold. They vibrate like there is no tomorrow. It makes it tough to move them about, and even harder to deal with if you have trouble with your hands. If you want a Waterpik water flosser cordless that barely vibrates, let alone makes a noise, then you may want to look into the WP-560. You flick the on switch, and nobody outside of your immediate vicinity will know that you have switched on your water flosser.

Cordless Waterpik Water Flosser Wrap-Up

If you are looking for the best water flosser, then you really won’t get much better than the WP-560. If there’s a feature missing that you’re really after, make sure to checkout our other options such as the Airfloss or Waterpik toothbrush. It really is the product that took Waterpik water flosser cordless technology to the next level.
